Event Highlights
AI-GeneratedAn 8-knot easterly gusting to 13, with a modest 0.33-meter sea and 20.1°C water, framed a single decisive day of racing at the 2025 Annapolis YC 3-2-1 Invitational®, where the same breeze carried the fleet through both the match and team racing phases. The combined title went to the entry that posted 19 wins against 7 losses — a 73 percent clip built across the 3v3 and 2v2 round robins, which together accounted for 44 completed heats and supplied the bulk of the winning record. Jemima Lawson followed at 5-2 (71 percent), with AJ Reiter third at 4-2. In the eight-boat match racing round robin, 22 matches produced a 3-1 line for Sam White at the top, while Sarah Morgan Watters edged Gwynie Dunlevy for fourth on a tie-break after both finished 3-3. Sunday's time limit closed the round robins early; all results stand as official.

About This Event
The Annapolis YC 3-2-1 Invitational is Annapolis Yacht Club's international invitational regatta, held each September on the Chesapeake Bay. Eight teams representing prestigious US and international yacht clubs each field six sailors who compete over three days in three racing formats: 3v3 team racing, 2v2 team racing , and 1v1 match racing with all six sailors aboard a single boat. Teams sail two different classes of supplied one-design boats, and the club with the best combined record across all three disciplines is named Overall Team Winner.
